Question on hen incubating

My silkie is finally sitting on her eggs. But I beleive they are not fertile. I wanted to buy fertile eggs on ebay or on a webiste to get a few eggs and have the silkie sit on them. What is better. Using the plug in incubating or use the silkie do what she does best?

Either will work. Depends on how you want it done. She will hatch them, raise and protect them. The incubator is fun and educational.

My goal is to start raising some chicks for my daughter. But I don't trust our incubator due to the fact it's a lot of work to keep up since we don't have an egg rotator.
