Can I keep 2 pairs of peacocks together, or do I have to separate them during breeding season? Will the males pair off each with a hen or will one be the dominant male & bully the other one?

Thanks in advance for any information.

What if I just kept all 4 of my boys? (sadly, I have no females) would they be happy together or fight? or even just 2 males together?
I love all 4 of them, but I want to do what's best to make them happiest. So I'm asking around to try & find 2 females & have a willing buyer for the other 2 males, if that's what's best for them. I wish I could keep all of them!

i would say you could keep them all four together i have had 3 males together for four yrs now with no problems, actually they spend most of the time together and were one goes the others are not far behind. so you should have no problems but if you add hen i dont know someone with more knowledge will have to chime in.

we have three adult males and several females that were all in the same pen this year during breeding season. They do have their own pecking order, kind of like chickens. Most difficult part for us was knowing who was the daddy on the eggs we hatched. Some were easy to tell b/c of their pattern, others I'm still waiting on to figure out. I do notice certain females hang with certain males but could not say for sure if they are 'exclusive' lol best way to do that is separate them out. We already have that planned out for next spring.

what colors are your boys? love to see pics!
