Question on lavender genetics in silkies

I have a male black silkie that was said to be split to lavender.. and I have a white silkie hen with unknown history.. What is the chance of getting lavender chicks??

Unless the white hen is also carrying the lavender gene, then your chances of getting lavender is zero, as lavender requires both birds to carry it for the offspring to come lavender.
