Would it be detrimental to egg prodution for quail to see 16 hours of light a day?

Why you may ask? I am setting up a room in the back of my garage to raise both my quail and meat rabbits. These meat rabbits need 16 hours of light to maxamize their pregnancy cycles. Regards,

No. Your quail will lay well at 16 hrs of light.... it seems very natural for someone who raises rabbits to also raise quail, and vice versa... I dont know why but the two usually go hand in hand.... And quite well I might add! Good luck with your birds and buns....

Edit to add: My favorite NZ doe build'n nest...
