Is it a requirement that on lockdown there be no fan running? I have my hatcher up and going, it's sitting at 100 degrees with 67% humidity at the moment, but that is with a small fan running. Without the fan, I have a hotspot next to the light of 102, and on the opposite side of the tank the temp sits at 97. I go into lockdown on Sunday night/Monday morning and want to make sure I don't screw this up. So far I've got 25 of 26 eggs developing nicely. I had one quit at day 4 or so.

My fan run 24/7 while my incubator is in use. This is going to be my 4th batch and so far I have had GREAT hatch rates. I have a home made incubator and the only batch that went bad is the one that I did some remodeling and tried to hatch in egg cartons. Right now I have 47 eggs in my bator and I know for sure at least 12 are no good if not 5 or 6 more than that.

Okay thanks! I should be good to go then. Crossing my fingers that all goes well from here on out.

I agree with the other posts. You are good to go... Good luck and enjoy!!!
