Question on mailing eggs

i think some experimenting with the saucer (or a sponge, or what ever) is worth trying.

one thing though to consider - it needs to be ventilated a little (babies need oxygen exchange in the eggs) and i have no idea if the gas would be a problem with that.

I don't either. I am looking into used incubators or getting one from the ag dept to use for free. I don't really think my husband would prefer chicken eggs hatching in our oven! LOL!!
