This may be a silly question. But....
I have a large rooster and a female goose. The goose has taken up with the roo and has gone broody. Is there any chance they can cross breed and the eggs be fertile?
I am assuming no, but thought I'd ask.
TIA!

A chicken and goose can never crossbreed saying they are not even the same species or same genus, family, or order the only relation they have is class which is aves. It might be possible that you actually hatch saying I have never heard accounts or stories of it not working but you might get a weird mutation like the guinea and chicken hybrid that are known to have four wings. I honestly doubt it though.
