Question on Quarantining

Would quarantining still be necessary if I purchase more chickens from my original source? He breeds from a closed flock.

Just trying to increase my chicken information.

I would definitely quarantine for at least two to three weeks, even if you get them from the same source. The breeder could have brought in a new chicken at some point that introduced a new pathogen between now and your last visit.
