Hi
Is a permit or certification required to ship eggs out of state? I am not NPIP certified yet as most of my breeding stock for next spring are still young, but I plan to by Jan. I emailed the dept. of ag and they said I don't need one for instate shipping, And I have a friend that has shipped eggs to several other states without a permit or any problems. So I have been thinking about shipping some of my Speckled Sussex and Barred Rock eggs since I am slowing down on hatching for the year and I wanted to know if I can ship out of state or just instate until I get certified. So if any of you ship eggs and have any info, please let me know.
