On the forth and fifth toes, or the ones on the side of the leg, is it bad if the two toes are completely separated and don't make a "v" shape??

Yes, the other foot is really nice.

I guess what I'm asking is, if I show this bird in the future, will this be enough of a hinderance to make it disqualified?

This is how the toes should be

But from what I was told and read, judges dont care about the toe spacing, they just care that all 5 toes are there on each foot and there are no foot dq's like duck foot.

Yes... but if it were a Faverolle, then the fifth toe would look like a velociraptors....

To be honest judges but very little significance on toe placement. As long as the toes aren't fused or double toe nails on a toes. Judges are looking for type first then condition and vigor. I've seen less then perfect toes go right up on Champion Row. So in a nut shell if you bird has excellent silkie type, color, condition ect. then I would not hesitate to show it or use it as a breeder. Just my humble opinion:)
