Hi there! I have heard many different ideas on storing eggs before they go into the incubator. Is it true that you should put them in the refrigerator? I would think they would get to cold.

You don't want to put them in the fridge, although people that have done that by mistake have been able to hatch their eggs but with lower hatching percentages.

I just had a hatch I put in the fridge for 4 days before incubation just kinda for an experiment I suppose. I hatched 62 out of 77 eggs. So I suppose that was not to bad.

Mine are stored in my closet. It's been 4 days since storage. I have not turned them and the temp is between 71-75 fluctuating. Is that fine?
