I had some guinea eggs hatch 4 or 5 days early once, so I hadn't yet stopped the egg turner,
but they hatched anyway. I just ordered some red golden pheasant eggs,
they're going to take about five days longer than my coturnix eggs.
Question is, will my quail still hatch if the turner isn't stopped?
Does anyone have an experience with that sort of thing? Thanks.

My friend had eggs in a 'bator that she added @ different times= different hatch days. Some hatched while the turner was still on and she said they got stuck and some died...

But they did hatch even while being turned? This wont be easy, but might be possible at least.

Got another loop thrown at me; they sent en extra egg, but it's a reeves pheasant.
If I'm not mistaken that'll need to be turned 3 days longer. This is going to take some juggling. lol

This is why I like to hand turn : ) I seem to always end up with some different dates, something always happens like a Hen I thought was Broody stops sitting .. Always something ..

Keep them in the turner until the first set goes on lockdown and then take all out and turn the rest by hand until they go into lockdown.

Bad news; I candled my pheasant eggs since they were a bit late hatching, saw nothing dark in the eggs.
My other eggs did hatch, just not any pheasant. I guess I'm going to try to find somewhere to buy chicks instead.
