Question on Vent Prolapse

When Vent prolapse happens does the whole internal come out or can the vent appear abnormal? I notice in my 2 hens vents that the top of the vent goes over the bottom a tad and covers it. Well one of my hens does not do that? I can see something but not sure if its the vent or start of prolapse? Or maybe this is normal?

i believe top and bottom should be even but dont quote. just to be on safe side until someone can help you can put some hemorrhoid ointment on there . pictures before will help if you are able to.

I have seen those blogs but hers is not red or handing out. I will see if I can get a pic. I do recall her last egg over a week ago was a double yoker. Hasn't laid since.
