Question Raccoon prevention.

I’m new to chickens and want to make sure I am trying to keep them safe. For my coop I am using hardware cloth and locks with a key on my door. But curious if something like this works for added protection or are these worthless.

Hardware cloth and locks, plus due diligence in actually using them, are all you really need IMO.

I've never heard of that thing and am skeptical but that's just me.
Curious how it bothers raccoons so bad but is safe for pets

Good point. I didn’t think of pets. Won’t be getting it now.
