Hi, I'm new to all this, set my first chicken eggs in an incubator three days ago. I might be a little behind the ball here, but I'm trying to figure out if I need to turn the eggs completely upside down while they are in the incubator (even with the automatic turner). If so, how often?

No the turner is doing that job - the eggs should always be in turner with the large end up- that is the end with the air cell.
When you candle in 7>10 days you should be able to see it well and the chicks beginning development.
Good luck on the hatch

Thanks so much finnfur, I was hoping that was the case, but just had to get the confirmation. Appreciate your well wishes too!
