Question Re: peeps in the shell

Question for y'all who might know. We've got a bantam setting in the barn. We don't know exactly when she started setting. I picked up an egg this am and it peeped at me! Do any of you know how long before they hatch they might peep in the shell? Thanks and regards, Woody

They will hatch in about 24 hrs now just sit on your hands and tommorow you should have a chick.

Nope, can't do that. Too much to do but I get your point. I figured today or tomorrow. I only check her twice a day at feeding time for the other critters. Regards, Woody
