If any one has any experience with the laws in Alabama, please shootm a PM for some questions. I can't find anything on the elusive Alabama Wildlife website about anything except bobs. I am wanting to sell fresh coturnix eggs (not guaranteed hatching eggs), and possibly hatch and sell some day-week olds at a local flea market this spring, but I don't want to get into any trouble for doing so. I have dealt with a few government agencies before and I know that most likely would take going 3-6 people deep in the organization to find someone who knows what I am talkign about. I don't want to get wrong information there if someone else has already asked the questions.

On a side note, after talking to the local health department, I was told I could sell the fresh eggs, but I could not try to prepare them without a permit. I just want to make sure I don't have Mr. Green Jeans beating on my door and writing tickets for it.

I have seen quail and quail eggs sold at collinsville trade day in N.E. alabama. they sell just about everything out there, quail, chuckar, pheasant, peacocks and hens, ducks, chickens, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, cows etc.etc.etc. nobody has licenses and police and game officers are always out here. also you can try craigslist. collinsville is open only on sat and i think it is $8.00 for a spot to sell.

Bamachickens, Its Always Best To Call And Ask For Yourself--- That Way There's No Mistakes. Good Luck!
