Question regarding Dust Bath

I just discoveted the recent white Ameraucana pullet I bought has many crawling bugs on her feathers. I was told she would need to have dust bath.

What do you recommend for dust bath aside from mulch? Can I use sand for dust bath? Is it ok to leave sand under sun in 95F Texas heat?

me too. i have never used molth so most chicken farmers don't use molth
