I believe I have 4 female and 2 male ducks. I will not be separating the males and females in separate pens. They are all still on grower feed, but my question is once they are old enough to switch and the females need layer feed, how does that work. I know the males should not eat the layer feed, but they will all be in the same pen. Is there a certain kind of food that you can give that benefit both for males and females?

You could give them a flock raiser or grower/finisher and provide some crushed oyster shells for the females. I'm planning to do that when my ducks reach laying age.
