We have 4 ducks right now. We ordered more from Metzer Farms. They ship out on Monday so we will have 13 ducks total.

One of my questions is what kind of set up do you have for drinking water for that many ducks.

Also flooring in the duck house. Ours is wood. I am worried there will be an issue with water getting spilled and it rotting the flooring. We do have ventilation and straw down. A family member also just got ducks and have said they are putting linoleum down for easier cleaning. So I wonder if we should do that too or if there is a better way.

I have vinyl on all my coop floors. With deep bedding on top. I don't put feed and water inside because the ducks will make a mess in no time with it. Of course you'll be brooding your ducklings so they will have to have food and water 24/7 for a while.

My water fowl have numerous buckets sitting around to drink out of.

I have a wood floor in my duck house. I do not put food and water in the duck house, it stays outside where they can make as big a mess as they'd like. I have fewer ducks than you, but I'm fond of my 2 gallon bucket for drinking water. It's deep enough that they can dunk their whole head, but small enough they can't climb in and swim in it, but then big enough that when it's full it's too heavy for them to tip. If I got more ducks I'd probably get more buckets of similar size. Plus they are easy to carry and fill compared to the bigger pool they have for swimming. I think this is the one I have, nothing fancy. Really it's the size I like.
