Can anyone tell me how to start a conversation? New to site and don't understand how its done.

Hit the inbox tab, than start a conversation.

It says I have to invite members to start a conversation. Do I just pick anyone? Not sure what to do.

Conversations are basically private messages between members, so you have to know who you want to talk to.
