We have two female turkeys, one dominate girl and one submissive girl. Recently the dominate one is starting to act like a male with displaying and trying to climb up on the other. Im absolutely sure they are both females, they are both about 4 years old. Iv never seen the dominate turkey act like this before. Is this a normal thing? Can turkeys change sex?

Turkeys cannot change sex. If the main ovary becomes disease or damaged, the secondary ovary can take over causing the hen to display the features of a male. The hen cannot look and act like a tom but is still genetically a hen and cannot produce sperm.
