Sorry for the stupid question but what could make a chickens poop be dark and runny. All 7 of our girls are laying eggs fine. We aren't sure which one it's comung from we think one of our Isa browns?

Poop alone is not much cause for concern. It most often reflects what a chicken has been eating and how much water they're drinking if it happens to be hot. However, if behavior is lethargic, then it needs looking into.

Chances are your chickens have been finding a lot of worms or are eating a lot of grass and other greens. But if any are behaving "off", this could be a sign of bacterial infection, especially if more chickens start acting sick.

They are all acting find. Just the dark runny poop. Thanks
