Definitely.
Compared to the other, single-combed breeds, a young Wyandotte pullet will look combless for quite a while. wyandottes have a rose comb, which is low and flattened--like a lump of flesh. They don't have the toothed, or serrated, comb that the other breeds have.
At 17 weeks, my wyandotte still looks relatively combless.
My SLW has nearly no comb at all, and she is closing in on 18 weeks.
