My mom bought 18 bob white quail yesterday 5 2 week olds and the rest 1 week to 1 day
our younger ones are dying off is it because of the 2 week olds ?

If they are all housed together, then probably yes. They can't push their way to the food and water. And could possibly be getting trampled.
I would separate the young from older ASAP.

That is just too much of an age gap. As 2 week olds don't need as much heat on them as 1 week olds do. And 1 week olds don't need as much as say olds!

Great.
Keep the day olds well heated. Hopefully you can join them all together again once they are around the same size.
But if you have too many males, they will fight.

The first week the brooder temp should b 97 degrees, it should be lowered by 5 degrees every week. when you overheat bobwhites they get aggressive. Like the other poster said split them up ASAP. THe older birds should only be around 92 degrees right now, and if you have them hotter than that they are going to pick and fight.

Are you brooding them under red light? How much space do they have? what type of floor do you have them over?
