My hen went broody today!!!

I'm so happy but, I've been taking her eggs away all the time because, I feel we already have enough chickens so she went broody in the nest without any eggs.. I conpletely regret what I did but I can't do anything about it, she's the best broody hen from the bunch she always hatches a good ratio 13-12 chicks from 14 eggs every time she sets. I'm thinking of calling this feed store in hopes of getting 3 chicks next week and put them under her will she accept them?

Well, since she is such an outstanding broody for you she most likely will take to them. I would slip them under her at night...she will probably think "Oh! They must have hatched already!"

Or you could buy fertile eggs of any breed and slip them under her.
