I have a friend hatching some SLW eggs. I've read on day 3 you can sex them by their wings, does anyone know about this process or if its accurate? I don't want to end up with more roosters I have to get rid of.

It can be done BUT only on certain breeds. I don't know the breeds, I just know it doesn't work on all chicks.

I don't believe it works in certain pure breeds, but rather is a trait that is bred for like other sex link traits.

It only works, and only sometimes, on specific breeds, strains, or crosses. If the birds aren't bred specifically for it, it won't work.
