Hello!
As of recently, my Red Sex-Link named Pebbles, has gone broody!

But there's a problem: We have no rooster, and therefore the eggs will not hatch. However, we are thinking about getting some fertile bantam eggs from a freind for her to hatch. I have a few questions.
Will she lay on eggs that are not hers?
If we move her to a different location by herself, will she stay broody?
Does she know how to turn the eggs and everything? (Might be a dumb question)
Will she continue to lay while broody?
Are there chances that she might leave the eggs after laying on them for a while?

And if you have any additional information about broodys, I would love to hear it.
Thanks!

Yes she will lay on eggs that are not hers, most broodys will sit on almost anything lol if you move her do it a night, this reduces stress and the chances of her leaving the eggs i've done this and my birds stayed broody for me. and yes she will turn the eggs and do everything for you. She will stop laying eggs while broody and there's always a slight chance of her abandoning her eggs but that's the risk you take with Broodys

Thank you so much!
