Questions About Baby Geese

Tomorrow I will be getting the 8 geese I ordered a month ago. Four Embdens and four Toulouse. I also had part of the same order come in today and have 6 Giant Pekins that I would like to put the geese with when I get them tomorrow. Is there a problem with this? I am giving my ducks the niacin suppliment in their water and was not sure if this would be okay for the geese or not. The ducks are on a 20% chick starter feed and again not sure if this is right for the geese. Any help I can get here would be so greatly appreciated as I have never had geese before.

I think the Niacin would be fine, All waterfowl need more Niacin than Chickens. The feed sounds fine but you can also use Flock Raiser

Thank-you! Now if I can find the flock raiser I will be sure to get it for them. I'm having such a difficult time finding the right protein % food for the birds I'm trying to raise and ordering it on-line is not the way to go for me as the shipping is way up there. Back to the phone and the hunt.

we have a goose that was raised just him and duckslings till all were about 6 weeks, then we added another goosling to the pen. They'll be fine. make sure your chick starter food is unmedicated for all water fowl.
