I have 3 African geese (1 Gander and 2 females) my gander likes to come very close to me and bob his head up and down although his neck quivers almost like hes nervous but doesnt bite he just honks and chirps. They all like to follow me around and get into the middle of whatever I am doing at the moment while outside. Just wanting to understand my Ganders behavior and none of them have bitten or bullied me before so any input would be very grateful :)

Hi there! This is an introduction thread/forum. Sort of like when you go to a tropical island and all of the villages greet you with flowers and warm friendly welcomes.
Try posting you inquires here-

But please stick around so the rest of the villagers can shower you with warm hellos.

Before a Canadian Geese bit me hard enough on the knee to raise quite a bump, he was head bobbing . That's when I figured out head bobbing wasn't a sign of friendship.

I've never raised geese but the members on the Geese forum (Farmer Connie gave you the link) should be able to help.

Best of luck to you and thanks for joining us!
