Questions about brinsea eco glow

I put a rumpled soft tee-shirt under the Ecoglow to kind of make a soft for them and more closely replicate the feathers under a broody hen, and they started congregating under it on their own. I never had an issue with any of mine figuring the lamp out.

I'm honestly thinking of getting a stuffed chicken to sit on top of the Ecoglow for my next batch of chicks, so they can go under "her" skirts when they're cold.

So I think that my problem was the ecoglow wasn’t working anymore which is disappointing cause it only worked for one round of chicks. But I got a different brand and now everything seems to be doing good

That's crazy, I left my EcoGlow in an outdoor plastic storage bin with all my other chicken supplies over the winter and it sat in so much rain in the bottom of the bin I had to pour water out of it when I was setting up my brooder this year and that puppy still worked. I even ordered another one before I even went looking for it because I was sure leaving it out all winter unprotected would have ruined the electrical components, but nope - good to go.

I'd complain to the manufacturer. Even if it's out of warranty, the worst they can do is say tough luck.
