    Question #1:
I have Bantam Cochins, at what age, are they likely go to broody around?

    Question #2:
Is there anyway to induce it or make it happen faster?

    That's all.
    Thanks in advance ! [IMG]

No, unfortunately, you cannot make a hen go broody or encourage it. I'm not familiar with bantam cochins and how often they tend to go broody. Hopefully, someone else can answer that for you.

ETA: I just did a quick google search and found out that bantam cochins tend to go broody, as do silkies. I have silkies and one of mine began laying in September and already has gone broody twice already.

The only way you MIGHT induce it is to leave eggs in nest. Mine will sit if I leave 8, they think that is enough to hatch I guess.
