Questions about bumblefoot-

My pekin duck has bumblefoot, and for 2 weeks now we’ve been doing the epson salt baths twice a day and vetericyn and a rotation of hen healer and neosporin, limiting her play time and keeping the wrapping fresh and clean. From what I’ve read it takes 6 weeks to heal, but after 2 weeks we haven’t noticed it change at all. So...
Is that normal?
What are time periods on progress?
Will it pop on its own or start to shrink?
Is there a better treatment?

If soaking and topical treatment is not working, you will have to perform surgery to get the plug out. There are many videos on YouTube to guide you through it.
