1. I'm incubating a single guinea egg in the bator (Brinsea 20 Advance). I have successfully hatched chickens before, never tried guineas. Are guinea eggs harder to candle?

I found it pretty easy to see the progress of similarly colored chicken eggs than this guinea egg. I never saw the high-contrast veins like I did in chickens, but before an incident, it was clearly developing. But not with the huge veins I saw in the chickens.

Is this just me, or are the veins harder to see?

How do I take pictures of the eggs? My pictures never show any detail at all while I'm candling in the dark. What's the trick like in the guides (good examples of day by day candling)?

A guinea egg has a much thicker shell than a chicken egg and it can be a little harder to see into. I don't see the blood veins as clearly as I would in a white chicken egg. A guinea egg takes 28 days to develop so it's not easy to see the keet until after about the 14th day.

I am definitely not good at photography so can't help you there.
