No problemo Aria

Quite a few of the bantam breeds are good broodys .. I only have experience with bantams and my Pekins [bantam Cochins] are definitely prone to broodiness along with Silkies.

I believe that Cochins, Orps, Brahmas and Susex are some of the standard size breeds which are known to go broody.

You will need to provide chick start for the little ones; mumma hen will be able to eat that also.

Also can I only do one chick or do I have to have at least 2?

You could add only 1 BUT if she does not accept it, you are going to be left raising a single chick and they get lonely.

Rather than trying to get one of your broody's to accept a chick, have you considered purchasing her some fertile eggs? You should be able to find homes for any that you do not want to keep.

I have another question I've waited till my chickens are older and here are new pics of them are any roos?
