Questions about chicks we'll buy this weekend

Hi everybody,
I have been doing a lot of research and I know that I really want my chicks vaccinated for Marek's but i'm surprised that only one of our feedstores even carries the vaccinated birds.

I know that the chicks will be older than 1 day when I get them, so if they haven't been vaccinated then it's too late, correct? I have questioned the stores about why they aren't doing it and they simply reply they feed them probitoics and medicated food so they don't need to.

We are only going to get about 5 birds, we are a family of four and we are each picking one, we will be eating their eggs and will eventually butcher them as they get older.

My questions are, first, please verify I can't get these chicks and then vaccinate myself?
If i'm feeding them the medicated food and some are vaccinated and some aren't, is that ok?
With only having 5 birds, should I really stress about some being vaccinated and some not?
The store that has them vaccinated only has barred rock, which is ok, but I wanted to give my boys a little more to choose from and see how differently they all grow up.

I never have had mine vaccinated and all have survived, but, then again, I hatch most of mine.
