Questions about Chicks

Ok, so I am getting 25 Rhode island Red chicks today, but we are getting one Buff Orpington from a local feed store. I was wondering if i could put the one chick in with the others? Or would they spread sicknesses? The one would not be to happy by itself would it? Thanks for you answers!

yes definitely put them together and no i don't think they will spread sicknesses because if you got your buff at a local farm... no they will not be sick.

If they are the same age or within a week they should be fine.
Does the feed store order from a hatchery?

Might better to get 2-3 Buffs.

It was the last buff or I would have gotten more.
