Is wiping the egg w/a damp paper towel any different then the mother getting back on the nest while she's wet? I know one of my hens has a "tinge" to her eggs. Even after I "wipe" them off (I wipe down the excessively dirty ones and give them to my mother) the "tinge" is still there. I wondered if this was still there was the bloom?
