questions about feeding

i am new to this chicken mom thing so how often do i feed my chickens and when do i move them to the next kind of feed we have five hens that are roughly 3 months old and growing good they are currently on chick scratch and what kind of feed do you guys recommend thanks in advance

this does help on what to feed but ty but i am unsure as to how often do i leave feed out constantly or feed twice a day

Chicks need as much food as they can get to grow healthy. I have always been told to always have chicken start & grow available to them. They are smart and will eat what they need and no more. Good luck and welcome to BYC.
