Questions about mcmurray hatchery?

I am considering ordering a rare assortment from MM hatchery because the only breeds I can find locally are just common birds.(nothing wrong with them but i already have several) Has anyone ever ordered this? was it worth it? were you satisfied with your order? Just trying to decide so no big hurry..... I might even change my mind and not order any this year but I would love to hear about someone else's experience with mail order birds before I try it. Thanks in advance!

Back in the 80's I had both rare assortment and rare of rarest pullets only. They were all beautiful and had some rare breeds like the Faverolles, Red Caps, EEs, Polish, Cochins, Dominques and Andalusians. I lost alot of them when they were young by a weasel.

The Red Caps combs were like regular rose combs, not the BIG rose combs you see in the true Red Cap breed. She had beautiful feathers but bad comb.

I got alot more Cochins, EEs and Polish chicks than I do with the rare of rarest breeds.
