Questions about Muscovy ducks !

So, i have a 8 month old Muscovy hen who is currently made a nest under a duckling house. The problem is, there is only about a 4 inch clearance that she is crawling under to nest. Is ths enough room for her? I am afraid once she starts to sit on her nest constantly that she will be to cramped.

As long as you don't mess with the nest that would probably be fine.





What i was wondering is, could I place a brick under each leg of this duckling house to give her some more room, or will she abandon the nest? Thanks for any help!

I have a young scovy that needs to have the wings clipped. I need to know if you clip both wings or just one. I'm very new to all this, thank you.

I clip both wings I think it looks better. Mine still can get up on the roost in their house with both done. but up to individual scovy owner. @umcanes123 Welcome to BYC and please pics of your new flyer.

Thank you for the info, I'm just concerned that he may lift highly enough to get over a 4ft fence and get into the street. I live in a residential neighborhood with traffic.

Def don't want that. yep 4' would be nothing to a scovy.
