That's not a production Red either...what is that? It looks full grown, (and very large). I don't see any roo hackles or red in the legs, which I'd expect to see from a full grown roo. Roos also have bigger waddles usually, so I'd say it is a hen with a nice sized comb. Not an expert though. I'm curious what kind of bird that is, since it like a hybrid, but not what I'd expect from a common sex link.

You're right, it is a rooster and it is not Red Sex Link; it is just a mixed breed rooster. It could be the offspring of two Red Sex Links but since Red Sex Links are hybrids and will not breed true, the offspring of two Red Sex Links are not sex-linked and their gender cannot be determined by color.
