I started with gravel in my run, which did not work the way I wanted, so I added sand and pumice and mixed it all together and that seems to be working pretty well so far. The sand has been mixing with the poop and as I rake, the poop breaks down and gets smaller and smaller as it mixes with sand and gravel.
