Are the eggs from sick birds safe to eat?

What about eggs from birds on antibiotics?

If I must discard the eggs would they be safe for our dogs?

My flock is currently having a cocci crisis and all are being treated with Corid but some are continuing to lay.

Thank you!

I would say no, but others may have better answer than that. I did have to treat mine about 2 months ago for upper resper. stuff and was told not to eat eggs for two weeks afterr final treatment. However I did cook the eggs and give back to them.

I only know (because I read it last night) that if chickens have worms, toss the eggs and follow the guidelines on the worm medication regarding how long to toss the eggs.
Sorry to say that I don't know about antibiotics and germ/diseases.
