As far as breeder or hatchery--I feel that you can get good or bad either way...just depends on how the husbandry goes with either one...I got mine from a feed supply store which got theirs from hatchery half way across country--and I have no problems..I picked out my breeds for heritage continuation also..to do my part...and eggs for my family..I feel you do your research and do what you feel is best...and by the way

....we will all try to help you in anyway we can....
