Questions from Farragut, TN!

I'm brand new to keeping chickens, in fact I don't even have one right now! I already know the 2 chickens I will get if things work out. One thing is hindering me: I don't know if keeping chickens is legal in Farragut. I know that in Knoxville's city limits they're making progress, but I can't find anything about backyard chickens in Farragut. I've read the town ordinances, but they aren't clear to me. I live in a subdivision and I have plenty of room to place a good sized coop in my backyard.

Does anybody know anything about this subject?

Any info would be appreciated! I hope I can get my chickens!

Welcome to BYC! I hope you can get your chickens too! Go over to the Local Laws and Ordinances section and you should find some people who can help point you in the right direction. Have you tried calling the local government to see what they know? Of course if it doesn't make sense to you, it's a good chance it won't make sense to them either . . .
