I have my 2 ducks in a temporary pen till I get their other one built.
It's a chicken wire pen attached to a dog house. (It's a pretty big house.)
I lock the ducks in the dog house at night so no predators can get to them. No worries they have plenty of ventilation.

My question is do I need to supply them with food & water over night? They've been making a disaster of the duck house bedding with water in there.

They would only be without access to food & water from about 9pm till 6:30am. Is that too long?

    Thanks! [IMG]

They'll be just fine until morning. Just don't forget to put it back out there in the morning.

Once my ducklings no longer need a heat lamp, I don't keep food and water in the coop with them overnight. They are waaaaaaay too messy.
