Questions on chicks

so i have 7 4 week old chicks the mothers are a barn yard mix but i take great pride in my beautiful barred plymouth rock rooster so the chicks are now 4 weeks old and i just had 20 more chicks hatch would it be possible for the older chicks to go out with the laying hens in the "free range"? im in Ontario canada and we have been getting a fair bit of rain but its like plus 10 to plus 15 it will get warmer eventually in the summer but can these chicks be outside with my older chicks they are free ranged so i dont see a problem with it but let me know what you guys think and when should i be able to tell the sex of them let me know thanks.

I would be more concerned that the older hens would attack the chicks than I would be with the temperatures.
