Questions on the Anatomical Consequences of Handling Methods

I carry my birds like the diagram FFM posted. Like a backwards football. I would imaging holding a bird by the wings (shoulders), could cause injury if the started flapping. I pick them up using the two hands holding wings down method. My location is posted for the world to see! Come visit, I love company! :love

Like I stated before, I do most moving poultry that way. I generally have been using the winghold paired with body support. Just couldn't accomplish that in the images. Despite having multiple children, I still haven't grown that extra set of arms yet. :old

I carry my birds kind of like a football. Wings closed in under my arm with them resting on my forearm while I hold their legs. They are usually held backwards. So their head is behind me and pooper in front in case they decide to let go while carrying them. :D
