If this hen is really chasing another hen around, and not letting her eat, should I separate her for a little while? How long? Also, I'm wondering if she's too thin. She's 15-16 weeks old, and the red sex link that came with her seems a bit more plump.

she isnt mean, she is showing she is higher in the pecking order then the other.its a chicken thing that will happen whenever chickens are together.it should slack off after a little while when they both come to an understanding that one of them is the one who gets the choice food, choice scratching spot, and when the lower one learns to just walk away when the higher one comes near her.
she doesnt look thin to me. feel your birds breast bone, then feel hers and see f theres a big difference between the others and the one your worried about.

with my red sex link she is not that big etheir so ... my bantam she is tiny and she is a higher up in the pecking order then my sex link and my bantam is tiny compared to the sex link

Okay, thanks!

These birds have been living together for over 2 months, and just the other day she started attacking the lowest ranking member. The lower one does run at the sight of her.

okay well its normal for this ... my barred rock is at the top but she is big but a rir mix is big and she ways about idk like 9 pounds or around there but she is nice and the top hen is really nice i can go up and pick her up but she doesn't like me holding her but she is a baby but when treats come in she will go right up on your lap and she thinks it is all hers lol
